Robert Dunham b. 1798 Combe St. Nicholas - 23rd. March 1879 Combe St. Nicholas, Wed  Mary Poole b. 1803 Ilminster - November 1884, Combe St. Nicholas, Robert and Mary Married abt 1827 at Combe St. Nicholas, Robert and Mary appear on the 1841, 1851, 1861 and 1871 Census Returns, Mary also appears on the 1881 Census living with her Son in Law Charles Sealy and Family, Robert is listed on 1841,51 and 61 Census as a Farmer of  10 Acres 41 and 51, and 20 Acres in 1861, by 1871 Robert is aged 73 and a Butcher. A Mary Dinham, of Combe St. Nicholas was Jailed for 14 Days in July 1853, for Stealing Six Pounds of Potatoes, the property of R. Muckton, at Combe St. Nicholas, I don't know yet if this is the same Mary Dunham,

Mary was the Daughter of  Templeman Bennett Sealy and Sister of Charles Sealy mentioned above

James Dunham was born 10th. October 1859, at Combe St. Nicholas, Somerset, England, He is listed in the 1861 and 1871 Census for Combe St. Nicholas, James joined The 1/13th. Regiment Somerset Light Infantry, James was enlisted on 20 June 1877, at Pitminster by Captain H A Adair, he enlisted for 12 Years, 6 in the Colours and 6 in the Reserve, On the 26th. March 1978 James left Brecon for South Africa for operations in the Sekhukhune Campaign in North East Transval, James then served against the Zulu's at Zungwini, and provided cover for the Township of Utrecht, then to Hlobane,  Khambula and Ulundi, James left South Africa, sailing on board H M S Euphrates, out of Durban, arriving back in Devonport, on 17th. September 1879, then onto Raglan Barracks, where he can be found on the 1881 Census, after 1881 he spent some time in Ireland, On the 22nd. December 1883 James Married his sweatheart Ellen Mitchem at the Parish Church in Combe St. Nicholas, Ellen Died in 1919, Aged 56, and is buried at Combe St. Nicholas Churchyard. James was discharged from the reserves on 20th. June 1889, James and Ellen both appear on the 1901 and 1911 Census, James moved to Dinder, near Wells in the 1930's to live with his Son Charles, towards the end of 1935 James became ill and was admitted to Wells Royal Infirmary and Died there on 30th. December 1935, he was buried at Dinder Parish Church on 3rd. January 1936.

February 1886 at Neath Registry Office, Glamorgan, South Wales, William appears on the 1861 and 1871 Census with his parents, William is missing in 1881 Census, this could be because at the time of his marriage in 1886 he is listed as a Mariner, William and Mary both appear on the 1891 and 1901 Census for Port Talbot, William is a Gangman in 1891 and a Docks Laborer in 1901, Mary was the Daughter of Henry Dymond of Devonshire.
